Advanced Basketball Coach.
The career path so far has been more of an exploration of life and possibility. The motivation to help people achieve the most from their lives. This has ranged from England Basketball Coaching to leading College departments and for the last 20 years an ongoing drive to seek out and provide the most effective solutions and services for people experiencing pain and life limiting issues through long term chronic illnesses. There are now 4 centres in the North East of England that giving attention and care to thousands of people every day offering seamless and intelligent services for the NHS and private care (Northern Integrative Health) as a result of dedicated work with a wonderful team.
The Nordics have excellent answers and attitudes to health and the most recent years have been researching and understanding the approaches and integrating these into UK perceptions with the public. The centre of clinical work is focused on the Bowen Technique and how this unique gentle treatment achieves the results it clearly does for people in pain resulting in the development of the “Safetomove” service alongside Gus De La Querra. Always bridging the gap between allopathic and integrative healthcare in conference keynotes and blogging.

The Bowen Technique and the Body Action Coding System.
An Exploration into Perceived Threat

Muscle Activations during the perception and expression of emotions such as fear and anger have recently researched by the department of cognitive neuropsychology Tilburg University . Netherlands. 2014-2020.

The Bowen Technique has often demonstrated state changes in the activation of shoulders, neck and arms resulting in reduced pain perception and tension in the clinical setting. The body action coding can help to hypothesise and explain the alterations in “perceived threat” whether conscious or unconscious via the afferent receptors resulting in a sense of wellbeing and safety potentially making Bowen a useful therapeutic tool.
